A Day of Firsts
Today was Chase's first time trying my homemade baby food. I made carrots and squash. I don't think he liked the carrots very much because he was gagging on them! We'll try them again later. I think his teeth were really bothering him today. It was also Chase's first time getting a haircut. I buzzed the back of his head to get rid of his little mullet that was beginning. It really stood out because most of his hair is very thin and light colored, but the back was really dark and thick. It looks much better now. And, today was Chase's first time showering with mommy! We wanted to clean him off from his little haircut excursion. Overall, it was an exhausting day. I don't know who's more tired, me or him.... well, I guess Chase wins because he fell fast asleep at 6:45 pm! He's been sleeping 11-12 hours straight, so I'm feeling blessed for that! He's approaching the 6 month mark very quickly (one more week)... where does the time go?
Weekend Dinner Party
Chase got to have a fun evening out with his girlfriend, Sierra. We had a fun time at Heather and Sohrab's appartment in Waltham with Jenna, Isaac, Aidan, Sierra and Lindsey. It's fun seeing the kids grow up together!

Fall Fun!
Life has been very busy these days, and I've been awful about keeping up with taking pictures and blogging. Here are a few of my fall favorites.
You may have noticed that sticking out his tongue is his favorite thing to do. I think he learned that from daddy.

Huge Weekend Blowout!
No, it's not a sale at Macy's....
It's Chase's poop.
This is just what exploded out of the diaper. I guess those prunes really worked.
p.s. Sorry for not posting in 2 months. I've been a little preoccupied with the above-mentioned matter.

3 Months Old Already!
Wow! How time flies! Chase is already 3 months old. He is growing very fast, and I already have 2 drawers of clothes that don't fit him anymore. He's so smiley and fun to play with. He is always grabbing all his toys, likes to look at himself in the mirror, and he loves bath time. Tonight we gave him some rice cereal for the first time, hoping it'll fill him up enough so that he can sleep longer. He was doing really well sleeping through the night from about 9pm til 5am, and nursing at 5am and going right back to sleep until 7:30 or 8am. However, these last few weeks, he's been waking up around 4am, so we'll see how he does tonight. I'm learning to become much more flexible these days, and I'm so glad that people are so understanding! I have a boss who doesn't care if I'm 30 minutes late (although, that's only happened once so far)... most days it's only 10-15 minutes! I feel very blessed to have such a wonderful baby, an awesome husband, and a family who is so loving and supportive!

| Yummy! |
| Last bite... well, not sure if we can consider it a bite, considering it was really soupy, and most of it ended up on his face, down the neck and all over his shirt! |

Weekend Trip to New York
Chase got to experience his first road trip this past weekend as we drove 4 hours to Schroon Lake, New York. We had a great time visiting with all of Rob's family and Chase got to meet lots of new relatives! It was a beautiful weekend on the lake. We got to take the pontoon boat out for a tour around the lake. Rob got to try wakeboarding, which wasn't so successful and he is still feeling the after-effects today! Chase slept in our room during the night, which we are not used to. We discovered that he likes to suck on his thumb very loudly all night! It kept us awake for much of the night. All in all though, it was a fun little mini-trip, and Chase was a very good boy. I think he has proved that he is ready for bigger and grander adventures- like maybe Disneyworld!!
A little video of Chase riding in the car. Hopefully you don't get motion sickness from my shaky taping!
